In the 10th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday mooted the formation of three targeted sub-groups of States, along with the Union Government and NITI Aayog, to expedite the way towards Viksit Bharat in 2047.
Sharing the details of his proposals during the meet, Naidu, making a post on ‘X’ stated, “The meeting revolved around the theme, ‘Viksit Rajya for Viksit Bharat 2047’, a vision of prosperous, inclusive and technologically advanced India. In the meeting, I proposed to form 3 dedicated sub-groups to fuel critical priorities.”
The Chief Minister added, “The initial sub-group on GDP growth is to stimulate investment, manufacturing, exports, and employment, facilitated by central Viability Gap Funding for PPP projects. The second sub-group on population management will enable India to capitalize on its demographic dividend while gearing up for looming challenges such as ageing and low fertility and the third sub-group will be technology-led governance, leveraging AI, quantum computing, drones, and digital platforms for real-time, citizen-centric administration.”
At the same time, officials who attended the meeting stated, Prime Minister Narendra Modi complimented “Andhra Pradesh’s growth blueprint” and appreciated the reforms introduced by the state government and guided by Chief Minister Naidu.

The PM also said that all other states “should study and observe the reforms of Andhra Pradesh, as there may be plenty of inputs in the blueprint of growth envisioned by CM Naidu for them,” they said.
During his speech at the meet Chief Minister Naidu paid homage to the martyrs of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and praised the decisive Armed Forces’ Operation Sindoor.
On his behalf the CM appreciated the Prime Minister’s leadership in the time of crisis and underscored India’s resilience and self-reliance.
The essential focus of the meeting was on the theme ‘Viksit Rajya for Viksit Bharat @2047,’ to construct a prosperous, inclusive and future-ready India by its centenary.
