- Honda has launched the Rebel 500 bike in India, priced at ₹5.12 lakh (ex-showroom).
- The bike will be available in only three cities – Gurugram, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Deliveries will begin from June 2025.
- The Rebel 500 is a cruiser-style motorcycle that is already present in the international market and is now offered in India in a limited manner.
- It has a seat height of just 690 mm, making it one of the lowest seat height bikes sold in India. This allows even short riders to ride it easily.
- In terms of design, it features a sloping fuel tank, a retro-looking round LED headlamp and a fully LED lighting system.
- The bike is available in a single colour – Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic, which gives it a dark and classic look.
- Talking about the engine, it has a 471cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, which generates 45.59 bhp of power and 43.3 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
- The suspension setup includes telescopic forks at the front and two Showa shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, there is a 296mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear, which also includes dual-channel ABS.
- The bike is fitted with Dunlop tires, which get 130/90-16 sizes at the front and 150/80-16 at the rear.
- The Honda Rebel 500 will be sold through the premium BigWing dealership network, and will compete with bikes like Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650 and Kawasaki Eliminator in India.
If you are looking for a stylish, low seat height and powerful cruiser bike, the Rebel 500 could be a great choice – especially for those who want something different and classic riding experience.
