Narendra Modi-led central government is all set to send a multi-party MP delegation to apprise foreign governments of Pakistan’s hand in the recent Pahalgam terror attack.

India has announced that it is going to initiate a diplomatic campaign against terror-sponsor state Pakistan. Members of Parliament from various political parties will launch an overseas outreach programme to inform foreign governments of Pakistan’s involvement in the recent Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent civilians.

The diplomatic team – comprised of seven MPs – will mobilize international opinion against cross-border terrorism, Times Now has found out. Congress MPs Manish Tewari and Shashi Tharoor will figure amongst members of the delegation, sources have indicated. Interestingly, Asaduddin Owaisi, who had openly supported Operation Sindoor, has been left out.

India’s Big Diplomatic Push Against Pakistan

Narendra Modi-headed central government is set to send a multi-party MP delegation to major countries of the globe. The core agenda for the diplomatic initiative is to reveal Pakistan’s hands behind financing and cultivating terror groups within its own territory and garner global opinion against cross-border terrorism.

The MPs delegation will move international governments and institutions with evidence, sources claimed. These cross-party delegations will try to change the narrative globally by presenting India’s case and evidence directly to foreign governments and institutions.

Shashi Tharoor and Manish Tewari – both top Congress leaders – will be among the delegation, sources informed Times Now. Shashi Tharoor, who is also the chairman of the Indian parliamentary committee on foreign affairs, can head the delegation. The other members of the diplomatic team are Priyanka Chaturvedi (Sena), Anurag Thakur (BJP), Amar Singh (Congress), Sasmit Patra (Biju Janata Dal) and Shrikant Shinde (Shiv Sena)

Tharoor had publicly supported Operation Sindoor,

where the Indian Armed Forces conducted targeted and calculated attacks on 9 terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Tharoor has been appreciating the Indian military forces and the way the crisis is being dealt with by the central government. He, additionally, criticized US President Donald Trump for asserting that he facilitated a ceasefire, when India stated that an “understanding” was achieved between Delhi and Islamabad on their own.

The ‘List’ – What is It?

  • Though the entire contents of the list are classified as yet, sources suggest that it comprises:
  • Names of internationally designated terrorists suspected to have connections with Pakistan.
  • In-depth dossiers on incidents of cross-border terrorism.
  • Proof of social media-based propaganda drives purportedly conducted from inside Pakistan.
  • Human rights violations in Balochistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
  • Pakistan’s purportedly given support to Taliban groups and extremist networks in Afghanistan.

Tharoor, with his fluency of speech and background in global diplomacy, and Thakur, a well-known BJP figure and former Information and Broadcasting Minister, offer a strong juxtaposition of credibility and communication.

Conclusion:

The initiative taken by Indian MPs such as Shashi Tharoor and Anurag Thakur represents an important milestone in India’s foreign policy approach. With the ‘list’ in pocket and international audience waiting, the next few weeks might determine the direction of a new era of India-Pakistan relations — one where India is not merely responding, but actively naming and challenging threats on the international front.
