OnePlus 13 Review: I’ve spent the last few weeks trying to ditch my iPhone and find the perfect Android phone. Bought Galaxy S25 Ultra, then tried some popular camera phones like Oppo and Vivo, but was not satisfied. There was something missing in everything. Then suddenly the name of OnePlus 13 came to mind.
Now, on hearing the name of OnePlus 13, many people say, “Hey, it is a bit behind the other flagships, right?” But to be honest, this phone is underrated.
The OnePlus 13 surprised me in many things. But yes, there were some things that disappointed me a bit. So let’s get straight to the point – is the OnePlus 13 really worth replacing the iPhone or other Android phones?

1. Oxygen OS is a different fun
- Ever since I switched from Galaxy S25 Ultra, it feels like I have pressed the fast-forward button in UI performance. No lag, no unnecessary animations.
2. Super fast charging has made life easier
- just wake up in the morning, charge the phone for 20-25 minutes and get through the whole day comfortably. The real fun will be found only with OnePlus’s charger.
3. Design – Most stylish in the class
- Its blue soft touch finish gives such a premium feel that even expensive iPhones start to look pale. Perfect for those who are fed up with heavy phones.
4. Photo sharing with iPhone users
- Easy and smooth – Now there is no headache in sharing photos while on tour. This feature works brilliantly in OnePlus 13.
5. Haptics i.e. vibration
- Weaker than expected – Vibration on calls is so light that many times important calls were missed. Even after improving the settings, it is not perfect.
6. Font size
- Android’s old problem – Font size appears different in every app. In the browser, the text sometimes becomes larger than necessary.
7. Camera
- It is average, just average – If you take a photo, it is fine, but losing focus in the video is very disappointing. Video sharpness is more than necessary, which does not give a natural look.
8. Battery
- Big name, small work – Hearing the 6,000mAh battery, it seemed that it would be a game changer, but in reality only average backup is available. Battery life is like Galaxy S25 Ultra.
9. Price
- Amazing deal – By taking the trade-in offer, you can get it for around $800 (₹66,000), which is a great deal for a phone with this specification.
10. What should you buy?
- If you are bored with iPhone or Samsung and want to try something new, fast and different – OnePlus 13 is for you. But if you are a camera freak then take a decision after thinking a little.
My experience
OnePlus 13 has made me happy to a great extent. The flow of Oxygen OS, fast charging and great design changed the game. Yes, things like camera and vibration are a problem, but looking at the price it becomes easy to ignore them.
To put it bluntly, after the iPhone, if there’s one Android phone I really liked, it’s the OnePlus 13.
