1️⃣Burmester Revamped

Burmester has finally revamped its Reference line. The 257 turntable has a stunning dual-motor design and a vast difference in sound compared to previous models. Expensive, but worth the money!

2️⃣Cyrus Full-Width Series

After 40 years, Cyrus has ditched its half-width casing and launched the full-width 80 series. The new look is great, but the price is a little high. The sound quality is still as good as before.

3️⃣Gryphon Celebrates

Gryphon celebrates 30 years of its Antileon power amps with the Revelation model. The Class A circuit still runs hot, but it offers better efficiency than ever. In my opinion, Gryphon’s best product ever!

4️⃣Qobooz Connect is finally here

After a long wait, the Qobooz Connect service has launched. Similar to Tidal Connect, but with an improved hi-res catalog from Qobooz. Been using it for the last two weeks – absolutely stable and hassle-free!

5️⃣Chord Electronics Ultima Phonostage

Good news for vinyl lovers! Chord Electronics will launch its flagship Ultima Phonostage this year. The price is not known yet, but I suspect it will be a must for you!

6️⃣Mark Levinson 600 Series

The power and preamplifiers in Mark Levinson’s new 600 Series perform well with Wilson speakers. Sound control is excellent, although there is a little lack of transparency compared to European brands.

7️⃣NAD Masters: Value for money

NAD’s updated Masters Series features the M33 V2 and M23 V2 offering features worth twice the price. The M33 V2’s Dirac room correction works like magic in tight spaces. Perfect for those on a moderate budget!

8️⃣Triangle BR04: The Dark Horse

Triangle’s new Boria BR04 standmount speakers are this year’s surprise package. Sounds amazing even with a simple Rega amp. The performance is outstanding for the price!

9️⃣Ortofon’s MC X range

Ortofon has retired its Quintet series and launched a new MC X range. I’m currently using the MC X20 cartridge – tracking is great, and string instruments sound sweet. The 50-hour break-in time is a little too much!

🔟Wharfedale Evo 5: Great for cheap

Wharfedale proves with its new Evo 5 range that you don’t have to spend lakhs to get great sound. With updated drivers and cabinet damping, the standmount model is perfect for smaller rooms.
