Hyundai has achieved a major milestone by selling over 3.3 million (33 lakh) units of its i10 brand, which includes the i10, Grand i10, and Grand i10 Nios.
Out of the total sales, 2 million (20 lakh) units were sold in India, and 1.3 million (13 lakh) units were exported to over 140 countries, including South Africa, Mexico, Chile, and Peru.
The i10 models are built with over 91% localized components, supporting Hyundai’s commitment to the ‘Make in India, For the World’ initiative.
The i10 has remained a popular choice for first-time car buyers in India, especially due to its compact size, reliability, and affordable pricing.
In FY24-25, over 45% of Grand i10 Nios buyers were first-time car owners, showing its strong appeal among new customers.
The car is available in both petrol and CNG fuel options, with manual and automatic transmission choices, making it suitable for a wide range of driving needs.
Key safety and convenience features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, seatbelt reminders for all seats, ESC, TPMS, LED DRLs, cruise control, and wireless phone charging.
The Grand i10 Nios also features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, enhancing the tech experience.
The price range of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is between Rs 5.98 lakh and Rs 8.62 lakh (ex-showroom), offering a great value package for budget-conscious buyers.
HMIL Managing Director Unsoo Kim emphasized Hyundai’s focus on local manufacturing, global exports, and plans to expand production with a new plant in Maharashtra to strengthen exports further.
