New Delhi:

Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda has attacked the opposition party Congress quite forcefully. According to him, Congress has distorted his words and read them in the incorrect sense.

Indeed, Deputy Chief Minister Devda has recently delivered a speech addressing the volunteers who had attended the Civil Defense Training Camp. In this, he cited the terrorist attack at Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and the retaliatory strike launched by India at Pakistan, “Operation Sindoor.”

He mentioned that it was highly painful in Pahalgam incident in which tourists were divided on the grounds of religion. Women were separated, and men were killed in a brutal manner in front of their families. Citizens of the entire nation are rallying in support of the present government’s decisions now after this cruel incident.

In his address, Devda appreciated the strong and firm action of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He mentioned, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s response is appreciative. Today the entire nation bows to the feet of our army with respect and dignity. Give a big round of applause to our soldiers.”

Deora states that he offered respect to the army, but the Congress consciously spread it like he had spoken about the army prostrating at the feet of Prime Minister Modi, and that is completely wrong.

The Congress posted a video recording of his address and labeled his remark “objectionable” and “an insult to the army.” Deputy Chief Minister Deora reacted by making sure that the Congress interpreted his words in the wrong way and attempted to mislead the people.

Only a few days ago, there was controversy involving another Madhya Pradesh minister, Vijay Shah. He had reportedly made objectionable, communal, and sexist comments about a senior army officer, Colonel Sophia Qureshi. Here also, he had to come to the Supreme Court, where the court ordered him to apologize to the army officer.

Colonel Sofia Qureshi has been spotted regularly in the Defence Ministry press conferences during Operation Sindoor and briefs the media on a regular basis along with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh.

The whole issue has also heated up the political environment, and questions have also been raised about political rhetoric being made about the army.
